I recently had Klein Dental's in-house whitening done at their Lewisberry office. They start you off with trays and a gel to reduce the sensitivity from the in-house whitening session. You wear the trays with the gel (at home) for approximately 20-30 minutes for 3-4 days prior to your appointment.Appointment took about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. When I heard 2 hours, I didn't think I could go through with it. However, it's only four 15-minute light treatments. It just takes time to get everything setup (brace to hold your mouth up, sunglasses, bib, gum protection).Your very professional dental hygienist assistant walks you through everything that he/she are doing, why they are doing what they are doing, and are consistently checking on you to ensure that you are not experiencing discomfort. They are constantly monitoring you to make sure you are experiencing any pain. I wish they gave you a little dog clicker to call for help, but they check on you probably less than every 5 minutes.I'm not going to sugar coat it, it is not the most pleasant procedure done. But you literally lay there and do nothing. I would recommend listening to a podcast or music since the device that generates light connects to the mouth piece. After each 15-minute session, they wipe your teeth off, reapply the gum protectant and reapply the gel to your teeth.After all four sessions, they clean you all up and may begin to experience some discomfort and sensitivity. Steer clear of hot or cold beverages for a couple of days and you'll be fine. They hand you a mirror after you're all cleaned up, and all I could say was, "wow. Wow. Wow." The technician genuinely didn't know if I was happy or sad. I was shocked that it worked as well as it is. I'm disappointed I didn't take a before picture, but I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, especially if you are having the whitening done.The most sensitive parts are my gums. It's been 6 days since my procedure and the sensitivity has decreased by 90%. I have zero regrets. ZERO.

Everyone in this office is very welcoming and in sync with one another to get the job done. They do not rush you, but make sure you are finished in a timely manner. Peter does a great job and is very gentle, yet thorough with his cleanings.

Definitely do not recommend this office. First anytime you call them they say they will call you back and they never do. Second, they clearly only care about money. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning, and the dentist was not even present that day. Not a big deal because the hygienists do the cleanings anyways. Then I received a bill stating they were out of network. I gave them my updated insurance card at the beginning of my appointment and they never once said they were out of network. Then I come to find out that there are two dentists at there Lewisberry location and one is in Network and the other is not. So they intentionally had me "see" the out of Network dentist so that they could charge more and it wouldn't be covered by my insurance. They don't allow you to choose which dentist you see and again I didn't even see a Dentist that day because they were out of the office but I have to pay to see an out of network Dentist that wasn't even in the office that day. Ridiculous.

Been with the practice for 20+ yrs and have always gotten good service. Recently had to cancel cleaning appts due to injury called to reschedule and my husband got in the day I called and I got in the next day. All the staff seems pleasant and seem to enjoy their jobs.

Today was my first visit. We've been with the same dentist for over 20 years, and our insurance changed. I was afraid of the change, but my experience at Klein dental today was wonderful! Thanks so much!

I find it odd that a dental office cannot supply a copy of one's diploma when their orthodontist is not on the ADA registry, you?We will NOT be going here.

Dental hygienists are very nice and personable which makes up for the lack of personality from Dr. John. My son is 10 and the dentist can be a scary place for a kid especially when the dentist is so cold.

I was a Klein Dental customer for years. Recently they started requiring signature of a "Financial Policy" that says "We will not become involved in disputes between you and your insurance company regarding ... non-covered charges, secondary coverage, etc." Essentially this means that if they bill you one price and your insurance says they overbilled you, they make you responsible for the difference. This is the essence of surprise billing which congress just outlawed in 2020 for all healthcare providers except dental as part of the "No Surprises Act." I offered to sign the form if they would provide list prices for the routine services I was scheduled to receive (a routine cleaning). They refused. In no other industry would it be acceptable to insist your customer commit to paying and not provide a price. Even my car mechanic who I've payed thousands of dollars over the years doesn't require such a form. The "Financial Policy" itself is draconian, the refusal to provide prices in advance, disgraceful.Additionally, Klein Dental offered me a Fluoride Treatment years ago while I was in the chair getting a cleaning claiming at the time that it was covered by my insurance. I got a bill in the mail weeks later where it wasn't covered. I paid the bill, but never forgot that experience. And as long as Klein Dental refuses to provide list prices, but requires you to commit to paying whatever they bill in advance, I will avoid their establishment.

Klein Dental / Lewisberry has been my dental health office for 20 years. Starting with Dr Jeff (father) and now with Dr John.(Son).Its clean, efficient, and friendly, but most important is its quality of care. From the front office, dental hygienists, and technicians, its as good an experience as you can have. Thats important in dentistry! (wink wink).Dr John is skilled and always explains whats next when you’re in the chair. His Assistant Kim is kind and attentive, and its always a pleasureseeing her. Keep up the great work and thanks for 20 years of excellent care and service!

I went here for about 25 years with no issues until the previous owner retired and new owners came in. They got rid off all the existing staff and hired young, inexperienced people. We had bill issues because services weren't explained prior to providing them. Also, my parents also go here and the dentist botched a root canal on my father that had to be corrected by an oral surgeon. Save yourself and go elsewhere! I would give them zero stars if I could.

I recently joined the Klein Dental in Lewisberry. Dr. Klein and his group are friendly, attentive, and instructive during procedures. All good things. They are clear about what to expect aft the procedure. Great personalities that like to chuckle at Friends reruns in between procedure steps. Love it.

Entered the waiting room and the waiting room was full with no social distancing. I canceled my appoint. Did not want them to work on me if they do not practice the proper protocol for Covid-19.

Everyone is so nice and pleasant, the dental assistant explained every thing step by step, she was go pleasant, she really put me at ease. Dentist was very nice too, he explained every thing well. This my second time have dental work with them, I use to dread fillings but they make it so easy and pain free my fear is gone.

My daughter & I just moved close to the Lewisberry area, while looking for a dentist, I saw the good reviews & the location cant get any closer for us. So today was our first visit. The staff was amazing with my 8yr old daughter. She doesnt like people in her mouth & she felt very comfortable. I felt comfortable & informed by all of the staff for my daughters visit as well as mine. And I purchased the electric toothbrush packages for the both of us. Glad we found the Klein Dental family. Had a really great experience at this Dental office. All the staff, from the receptionist, to the dental hygienist, to the doctor, to the guy that checked me out was friendly and personable. I'm in the hospitality industry myself and sometimes feel like professionalism and friendliness are hard to come by. Never once, like other dental offices, did they ask me what I do or don't do to take care of my teeth. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable. I really recommend Klein Dental.
